We all want our kids to find their paths and be successful. Many times, it's hard to determine the right direction!
As a mom of 3 young adult sons, we've been through this process---3 times! What college should they attend? What majors align best with their interests and strengths? What other pathways might exist that do not include a 4-year university?
We found this process to be quite challenging, unclear and at times, scary! Since college is so expensive, our family couldn't afford a misfire (i.e. our students changing majors midstream) that would result in prolonging their time in college and stacking up more tuition.
Illuminate was born out of our family's journey. This is the tool we wish we would have had to help bring clarity and provide insights to consider during our decision-making process.
